Football Recap: Kauai Comes Up Short on the Road Against Hilo

Kauai kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 33-20 to the Hilo Vikings.

The victory got Hilo back to even at 1-1.

Kauai will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Waimea at 6:30 p.m. on September 6. As for Hilo, they will head out on the road to square off against Leilehua at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
