Basketball Recap: University Falls Despite Big Games from Nicholas Johnson and Latrevius Gant

University lost against Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell 54-43 to the Phoenix. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

University's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of LaTrevius Gant, who posted 13 points, and Nicholas Johnson, who put up four points and ten rebounds. Johnson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, University fell to 3-1. As for Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
