Franklinton won the last time they faced Knightdale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Rams blew past the Knights 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Rams.

Franklinton's got stronger as the match went on, holding Knightdale to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.

Franklinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adalyn Smith led the charge by getting six digs and two aces. Delaney Boylan was another key player, getting 11 digs and two assists.

Franklinton's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Knightdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
