Football Recap: Oshkosh West Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Oshkosh West took on Fond du Lac on Friday. The Wildcats took a blow against the Cardinals, falling 48-14. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 33rd).

Oshkosh West's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Fond du Lac, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Oshkosh West nor Fond du Lac have any future games scheduled.
