Softball Recap: Davenport Wolves vs. Bandera BULLDOGS
In Friday's Canine Competition, Davenport prevailed. They never let the Bandera BULLDOGS get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Friday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the BULLDOGS recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Teagan Massey looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on KINLEY Keller, who fired off two home runs, eight RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlynn Kennedy, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Davenport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bandera only posted an OBP of .273.
