Basketball Recap: University School Takes a Loss

University School has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 70-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions on Monday. The Preppers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

University School's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

University School and Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. University School (ranked 157th) will meet Ottawa-Glandorf (ranked 639th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will take on Holy Name at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 530 places (101 vs. 631).
