The Warren East Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the IMG Academy Black Ascenders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Warren East is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Warren East came up short against Countryside and fell 5-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warren East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Alexander, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Dane Parsley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, IMG Academy Black got the win against Hollins on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-1. The Ascenders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

Jaehyeok Jang looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Nate Lynn was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Frankie Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

IMG Academy Black's record is now 17-4. As for Warren East, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
