             On Friday, the Asheville Christian Academy Lions ended up a good deal behind Non Varsity Opponent and lost  35-18. The Lions have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Asheville Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Avery Hollifield, who threw for 377 yards and three touchdowns. Hollifield's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 301  passing yards dating back to last season.  Jack Holmes helped  Hollifield out on the ground, picking up 215 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Asheville Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
 Asheville Christian Academy will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against SouthLake Christian Academy at 6:00  p.m. Asheville Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.2  points per game  this season. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  38-6  victory against The Pinnacle on the 19th.
