Basketball Recap: Bellingham Piles Up the Points Against Randolph

Bellingham won against Ashland last Tuesday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Bellingham Blackhawks blew past the Randolph Blue Devils 53-25. Given the Blackhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 194th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bellingham pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Randolph, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellingham won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Norton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Norton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bellingham surely won't give up without a fight. As for Randolph, they will challenge Southeastern RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
