After flying high against Abbeville last Monday, West-Oak came back down to earth. West-Oak lost 7-0 to the Walhalla Razorbacks on Thursday. West-Oak's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

West-Oak's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5. As for Walhalla, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

West-Oak will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Belton-Honea Path at 7:00 p.m. on April 10. As for Walhalla, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pickens on the 28th.
