Basketball Recap: Aurora Central Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westminster Christian last Monday, Aurora Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Aurora Central Catholic Chargers were beaten by the Marmion Cadets 60-27 on Friday. The Chargers have struggled against the Cadets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Aurora Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Marmion, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aurora Central Catholic will take on Loyola Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marmion, they will head out on the road to take on Leo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leo is on a three-game streak of home wins, Marmion a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
