Volleyball Game Preview: Lower Lake Trojans vs. Middletown Mustangs + How To Watch

Lower Lake is 0-10 against Middletown since September of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Trojans will head out to face off against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Lower Lake didn't have quite enough to beat Fort Bragg and fell 3-2.

Lower Lake took Fort Bragg into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 19-25, 16-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Middletown came up short against Kelseyville on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost nine in a row.

While Middletown was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Kelseyville's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-22.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Lower Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Lower Lake might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Middletown in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
