Baseball Recap: Lemoore Takes a Loss

Lemoore was the 4-2 winner over Dinuba when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Emperors by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keelin Shiyomura and Clinton Rhew did some serious damage despite the final result: Shiyomura got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Rhew went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Dallas Neal was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Lemoore's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-5. As for Dinuba, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-12.

While Lemoore had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
