Volleyball Recap: Bowie Takes a Loss

If Bowie was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Glenn two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Bowie fell 3-1 to the Round Rock Dragons on Wednesday. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bowie started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 27-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Bowie's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Round Rock, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

After both having extra time off, Bowie and Vista Ridge will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Round Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
