Soccer Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alice last Tuesday, Carroll came back down to earth. The Carroll Tigers came up short against the Flour Bluff Hornets on Friday, falling 7-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Flour Bluff, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Carroll face off against the Gregory-Portland at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gregory-Portland will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Carroll surely won't give up without a fight. As for Flour Bluff, they will head out to face off against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
