Softball Preview: River Valley Panthers vs. Northern Cambria Colts

The River Valley Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Northern Cambria Colts at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. River Valley has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight losses, while Northern Cambria will come in with three straight victories.

Last Thursday, River Valley came up short against West Shamokin and fell 11-8.

Meanwhile, Northern Cambria scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Conemaugh Township 17-0. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Northern Cambria, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
