Baseball Recap: Highland Gets the Win

Highland lost to Frontier back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Scots came out on top against the Titans by a score of 11-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scots.

Highland's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Legan, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Legan wasn't the only one making solid contact: Highland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.

Highland's record is now 15-8. As for Frontier, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11.

Highland will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
