Matthew Combs has brought in more RBI than anyone else on the East Central team this season and he led the team again on Tuesday. Laurel had no answer to Combs as he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Combs has become a key player for East Central: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-12 otherwise.

Combs' strong effort led East Central over Laurel and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
