Volleyball Recap: Cape Henry Collegiate Comes Up Short

Cape Henry Collegiate was the 3-1 winner over Maury when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dolphins fell just short of the Commodores by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Cape Henry Collegiate took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-6.

Cape Henry Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Maury, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Henry Collegiate will welcome Peninsula Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maury, they will host Granby at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
