Baseball Recap: West Texas Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Texas's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Gruver Greyhounds on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Comanches' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West Texas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landan Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

West Texas now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Gruver, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Greyhounds beat West Texas by a score of 13-1 on Saturday.
