Softball Game Preview: Daniel Lions vs. Crescent Tigers

Daniel hasn't had much luck against Crescent recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lions will take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Daniel has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Daniel couldn't beat T.L. Hanna on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Lions lost 19-6 to the Yellow Jackets.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Crescent took on Daniel on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Lions 12-4. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Daniel's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Crescent, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Daniel might still be hurting after the 12-4 defeat they got from Crescent in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
