Basketball Recap: Los Alamos Takes a Loss

Los Alamos was the 69-44 winner over Moriarty when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Los Alamos Hilltoppers fell to the Moriarty Pintos 49-45. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Brown was his usual excellent self, putting up 16 points and seven rebounds for Moriarty. Another player making a difference was Evan Pacheco, who posted 12 points and six boards.

Los Alamos' record now sits at 5-17. As for Moriarty, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.

Coming up, Los Alamos will take on Espanola Valley at 3:00 p.m. on February 15th. As for Moriarty, they will square off against Taos at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
