Softball Recap: St. Mary Takes a Loss

St. Mary made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cardinals fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for West Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

St. Mary has already played their next game, a 12-8 win against Madison on the 28th. West Central has also already played their next contest (against Canton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
