Baseball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Teresa Bulldogs, falling 17-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in March.

Sean Abraham was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for St. Teresa, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11.

MacArthur didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 defeat against Clinton on the 5th. As for St. Teresa, they have also already played their next match, an 11-7 loss against Casey-Westfield on the 2nd.
