Baseball Recap: Nyack Comes Up Short

Nyack managed to slip by Clarkstown South the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Hawks lost 8-1 to the Vikings on Thursday. The Red Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Nyack dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Clarkstown South, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nyack will face off against East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] at 1:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Clarkstown South, they will challenge John Jay at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
