Volleyball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the West Aurora Blackhawks.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-22. As for West Aurora, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-12.

Looking ahead, Elgin is taking a road trip to face off against Streamwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Aurora, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Wheaton North at 5:30 p.m. The Falcons will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
