Brandeis's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand KIPP NYC College Prep a 13-0 shutout. Considering Brandeis has won nine contests by more than 11 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brandeis is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for KIPP NYC College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.

Coming up, Brandeis will challenge Van Arsdale at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. KIPP NYC College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
