Basketball Game Preview: Grace Christian Grizzlies vs. Palmer Moose

The Grace Christian Grizzlies will head out on the road to challenge the Palmer Moose at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Grace Christian is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since December 19, 2024 on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 79-32 victory over Soldotna. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Stars are ranked 58th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Palmer strolled past Kodiak with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 67-51. The win continues a trend for the Moose in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won five in a row.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Grace Christian, their win bumped their record up to 20-2.

Grace Christian beat Palmer 57-49 in their previous meeting last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grace Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
