Basketball Game Preview: Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles vs. Quince Orchard Cougars

Seneca Valley and Quince Orchard are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Quince Orchard Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Seneca Valley will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Seneca Valley blew past Northwest, posting a 62-34 victory. The Screamin' Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Quince Orchard beat Gaithersburg 35-27 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Seneca Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Quince Orchard, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Everything came up roses for Seneca Valley against Quince Orchard in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 75-30 victory. In that matchup, Seneca Valley amassed a halftime lead of 44-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
