Volleyball Recap: Hereford's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Hereford won the last time they faced Lubbock Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Whitefaces came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Whitefaces as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (91-89) Hereford actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 11-25, 28-26.

Kaydence Ramirez went supernova, getting 40 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had over her last five matchups. Kyndall Valdez was another key player, getting 12 digs.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-6. As for Lubbock Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Hereford will take on Caddo Mills in a tournament on Thursday. As for Lubbock Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against McKinney Christian Academy on Friday.
