Show Low waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They put the hurt on the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets with a sharp 23-2 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

Bode Kenney made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Show Low kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March.

Show Low's record now sits at 25-3. As for Blue Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Looking ahead, Show Low will face off against Payson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Blue Ridge, they will square off against Alchesay at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
