Football Recap: Joaquin Rams vs. Timpson Bears
After losing to Timpson the last time they met, Joaquin decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams secured an 18-12 W over the Bears on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Joaquin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trenton Runnels, who threw for 116 yards and one TD on only seven passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Those 116 passing yards gave Runnels a new career-high. A healthy portion of Runnels' aerial production (100 yards to be exact) went to Conner Rios, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Joaquin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 184 rushing yards in 13 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Joaquin's record now sits at 5-3. As for Timpson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
