Baseball Game Preview: Chireno Owls vs. Garrison Bulldogs

The Chireno Owls will take on the Garrison Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Chireno took on Woden on Friday. Chireno fell just short of Woden by a score of 9-8.

Chireno saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Nash, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those two hits gave Nash a new career-high. Another was Andrew Mitchell, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Garrison entered their tilt with Woden on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-3.

Travis Burkhalter was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season.

Chireno has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-2 record this season. Garrison's win bumped their record up to 13-4.
