Basketball Recap: Ransom Everglades Find Success

Ransom Everglades won the last time they faced Downtown Doral and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Raiders snuck past the Dolphins with a 72-67 victory.

Dimitri Tatulishvili had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 32 points and 16 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Matheus Dabus, who shot 55% from the field en route to 15 points.

Ransom Everglades smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Downtown Doral only pulled down four offensive rebounds.

Downtown Doral lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Samuel Salas, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 24 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mateo Davila, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards.

The win got Ransom Everglades back to even at 1-1. As for Downtown Doral, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ransom Everglades will challenge Community School of Naples at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Downtown Doral, they will take on Mater Brickell Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dolphins will need to watch out since the Bulls have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
