St. Joseph entered their tilt with St. Anthony on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 13-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-0 back in March.

Alexia Sanchez looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jazmyn Gamez was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Valery Villareal was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

St. Joseph kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.

St. Joseph's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for St. Anthony, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
