Basketball Recap: East Brunswick Piles Up the Points Against Central Jersey College Prep

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Keyport, East Brunswick was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past Central Jersey College Prep 80-49. With the Bears ahead 45-23 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Despite the loss, Central Jersey College Prep saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Carter Staton dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for Staton. Another player making a difference was Lucas Chouloute, who went 5 of 8 en route to 14 points.
