It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lincoln can now relate to. They fell 33-20 to the South Shore Vikings on Saturday. The Railsplitters were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Nicholas Cryus was a one-man wrecking crew for South Shore as he threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown. 85 of Cryus' passing yards were hauled in by Amire Tucker, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Lincoln has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for South Shore, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Shore, they and Curtis are set to duel on Saturday. South Shore knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Curtis likes a good challenge.
