Baseball Recap: Highland Prep Comes Up Short

Highland Prep extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 21 on Monday, dropping them down to 0-18. They lost 15-0 to the Parker Broncs. The Honey Badgers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Broncs from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

As for Parker, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-17 record. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the game before.

For Parker's part, Leif Flores was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, Flores posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Adan Ortega, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

As of now, neither Highland Prep nor Parker have any future games scheduled.
