Munford waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Covington Chargers by a score of 5-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-2 victory back in March.

Brodie Fortner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jase Greenland, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Munford's win bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Covington, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-15.

As of now, neither Munford nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
