Volleyball Recap: Villa Park Find Success

Villa Park won the last time they faced Garden Grove and things went their way on Saturday too. Villa Park sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Garden Grove. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Villa Park's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Garden Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Villa Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Tustin on the 29th. As for Garden Grove, they will head out to square off against Segerstrom at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
