Recap: Camden County Wildcats vs. Lowndes Vikings
It was a good run, but the Camden County Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lowndes. Camden County has not had much luck with Lowndes recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Camden County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dasmine Cooper, who scored four points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaniyah Patterson, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Lowndes, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Camden County will take on Colquitt County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lowndes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valdosta at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
