Volleyball Recap: Eastern View Comes Up Short

Eastern View was the 3-2 winner over Chancellor when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Cyclones fell 3-1 to the Chargers on Thursday.

Lauren Denham paced Eastern View's offense, picking up seven kills. Denham got some help from Tatum Caparese and her 13 assists. Finally, Olivia Denham kept Eastern View's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Eastern View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Chancellor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Eastern View will take on King George at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chancellor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against James Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers are facing the Yellow Jackets at the right time seeing as the Yellow Jackets are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
