Basketball Recap: Glasgow Falls Short of Malta in the Playoffs

Glasgow and Malta squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Glasgow had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Malta Mustangs and fell 91-62. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 84-63 defeat two weeks ago.

Glasgow's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Malta, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Glasgow will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fairfield at 2:30 p.m. on March 6th. One thing working in Fairfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches. Malta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
