Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Academy was the 43-40 winner over Calvary Christian Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Grace Academy Knights fell 56-43 to Calvary Christian Academy on Monday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nathan Strachan led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Geren Knight, who posted 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and four blocks.

Grace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Grace Academy has already played their next contest (against Living Grace Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will take on Paw Paw at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
