Baseball Recap: Imagine Prep Coolidge Takes a Loss

Imagine Prep Coolidge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the AZ Compass Prep National Dragons, falling 16-3.

Imagine Prep Coolidge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ari White, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. White is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Alfredo Hernandez was another, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Imagine Prep Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for AZ Compass Prep National, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Imagine Prep Coolidge will head out to take on Heritage Academy Gateway at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Heroes have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season. As for AZ Compass Prep National, they will take on Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Heroes' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Dragons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
