Baseball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood's last matchup with Kingsley-Pierson could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Rebels lost 11-1 to the Panthers. The Rebels have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Kingsley-Pierson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Westwood will head out on the road to challenge Missouri Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingsley-Pierson, they have already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove on the 24th.
