Soccer Game Preview: Northside vs. Rogers

The Northside Grizzlies will face off against the Rogers Mountaineers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Northside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Northside fell victim to Springdale and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Rogers faced Rogers Heritage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mountaineers' defense stepped up to hand the War Eagles a 1-0 shutout. Rogers haven't had any issues with Rogers Heritage recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Rogers, they pushed their record up to 4-2-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
