Softball Recap: Cherokee County Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Cherokee County got themselves on the board against Cleburne County on Monday, but Cleburne County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-2 back in March.

Cherokee County pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Cleburne County, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Looking ahead, Cherokee County will challenge Sylvania at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cleburne County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Winterboro at 5:00 p.m.
