Basketball Recap: Fargo South Comes Up Short

Fargo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Fargo Davies Eagles and fell 78-36. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Eagles are ranked 18th).

Fargo South's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Fargo Davies, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Coming up, Fargo South is taking a road trip to face off against Grand Forks Central at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Fargo South is facing Grand Forks Central at the right time seeing as Grand Forks Central is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Fargo Davies, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fargo North at 7:15 p.m.
