Baseball Recap: Branson Takes a Loss

Branson lost against Tamalpais last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulls came up short against the Red Tailed Hawks, falling 10-1. The Bulls just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Branson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Spencer Weinberg, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Branson's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Tamalpais, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Branson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sonoma Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Tamalpais, they will challenge Petaluma at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
